Stonham Motorcycle Show 2019
2019 saw the first motorcycle show to be held at the Stonham Showground, Suffolk. Sadly, it was a little disappointing, with very little in the way of bikes in the custom / classic show or trade stands to look at. There was a 'grand' ring which was shared with the show bikes and the trials display team, but getting visitor's bikes parked seemed to be badly thought out, with most of them having to ride through the actual showground (avoiding pedestrians) to get to the 'official' parking zone. In the end it became a bit of a free for all, with any available free space, including the grand ring, used as a general parking area. The trials display team was good though!
I don't know if it will be repeated next year, and if it is, I don't know how many people who went this year will go back again. I hope that they do run it again next year, but learn some lessons from this year's event and do better next time.
