Yamaha XV750
The Yamaha XV series was a popular factory custom as standard, but recently it's become even more popular as a base for special builders.
Standard Yamaha XV750
This is Clive Hancy's take on an XV750 special.
Yamaha XV750 Custom Build
The look and stance of this bike comes courtesy of a rear to front wheel conversion kit. This allows a standard XV rear wheel to be used as a front wheel, giving 3 x 16” wheels both ends. The wider front rim allows the use of a chunkier front tyre, which gives the front end of the bike a much more purposeful look, especially when it is teamed with 2002 GSXR1000 USD forks. Modifications were required to both front wheel spindle, spacers and fork yoke stem to get everything to fit correctly.

Tank is a replica Benelli Mojave, sourced from India. Seat and sub-frame are custom one-offs built especially for the bike. The seat base is made from three layers of 3mm ply, with a 3mm ply border, and 3 layers of foam (firm, medium and soft) added for comfort. It also incorporates a Triumph seat catch.
